Welcome to Sparta Fitness ("we", "our", "us"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website and application available at https://spartafitness.app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide our services.

a) Personal Information

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Account authentication data (via Google login)

b) Fitness Data

  • Workout activity
  • Training progress
  • User-generated fitness data within the app

Sparta Fitness is intended for user-entered fitness and activity tracking. We do not ask you to enter medical diagnoses, treatment information, symptoms, prescriptions, insurance information, or medical records, and you should not submit that information through the app.

We do not use your fitness data to diagnose, treat, cure, monitor, or prevent any disease, injury, medical condition, or health condition.

2. Authentication via Google

We use Google Sign-In through Firebase Authentication to allow users to securely access the app.

When you sign in with Google:

  • We receive basic profile information such as your name and email address
  • Your authentication is handled by Google
  • We do not have access to your Google password

Google may process additional technical data (such as IP address or device information) as part of its authentication services. This is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

  • Payment or billing information
  • Medical diagnoses, treatment information, prescriptions, insurance information, or medical records
  • IP address, browser type, or device identifiers directly

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide and maintain app functionality
  • Authenticate and manage your account
  • Track your fitness progress
  • Improve app features and user experience
  • Communicate important updates

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share data only when necessary with:

  • Service providers (e.g., hosting and authentication providers like Firebase Authentication)
  • Legal authorities if required by law

6. Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices
  • Authentication is handled by Google via Firebase
  • We take reasonable measures to protect your data
  • No system is completely secure

7. Your Rights (LGPD)

Under the Lei Geral de Protecao de Dados (LGPD), you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent
  • Request information about data processing

8. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under 13 years old (or applicable minimum age). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.

12. Account Deletion

You may delete your Sparta Fitness account in the app by going to Settings, Account, and Delete account. You can also request deletion at any time by contacting gabriel@lobo.dev. If you email us, include your account email address in the request so we can identify the correct account. We will process manual deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.

Upon deletion:

  • Your Sparta server account data, group memberships, leaderboard activity, synced workouts, synced activities, badges, devices, custom exercise types, and Strava connection will be permanently removed from our systems
  • Workouts and activities saved locally on your phone remain on your phone
  • Some information may be retained if required for legal obligations
